Welcome! I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Decisions, Operations, and Technology at CUHK Business School, supervised by Prof. Renyu (Philip) Zhang and Prof. Ni (Nina) Huang.
In 2024–2025, I am a visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Miami, working with Prof. Nina Huang. Before joining CUHK, I received my Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics and Bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the South China University of Technology.
My research examines the societal and economic impact of emerging technologies, with a focus on digital platforms and artificial intelligence (AI). Using field experiments, econometric analysis, and machine learning, I study how platform design and algorithmic interventions influence user behavior, creator development, and market outcomes.
Beyond academia, I have industry experience as a data science research intern at Tencent and Kwai, where I worked on research projects related to short-video recommendation, livestreaming analytics, and advertising optimization.
I will be on the 2025–2026 academic job market. I welcome any conversations about research, teaching, and collaborations.
I will present at the CIST 2025 on Oct. 26.
